Director & Practicing Attorney
Obtained his B.Comm Law Degree from the University of Stellenbosch (US) in December 2004. He also holds a post LLB degree which he obtained from the University of Stellenbosch in March 2006. He has twelve years post-articles experience as a civil litigation lawyer and specializes in debt collection. He is currently a director of Esterhuyze Incorporated and acts as a Commissioner for the Small Claims Court in which he presides over small claim cases.
Director & Practicing Attorney
Danie has been in the in the debt collecting industry since November 1999. He was the founder member of Prodebt Debt Collections. While managing the Debt Collection business he started to study and completed his LLB degree and was admitted as an Attorney.
Prior 1999 he was involved with the Building Bargaining Council and completed the necessary CCMA training and obtained his Nasional Diploma in Industrial Relations.
Danie joined Esterhuyze Attorneys in 2008 and is since involved in the business. Together with Francois Slabber as partner he co-manages the Companies Prodebt (Pty) Ltd and T & T Investigational Services which is a tracing agency.
Danie has a special interest in Labour Relations where he provides services to various clients
Elzana has been employed by Esterhuyze Inc. since February 2011. She initially started working at our firm as a collection secretary, and enrolled for her LLB degree during June 2013 through Unisa whilst completing her articles. She was subsequently admitted as an attorney in March 2019 and has since practiced as an attorney at our firm.
With almost 10 years’ experience of the civil process and litigation throughout her employ at Esterhuyze Inc., she has proven to be invaluable when attending to civil litigation and drafting, and enjoys attending to other areas of the law as well.
Branch Manager / Practicing Attorney / Insolvency Practitioner (Tygervalley Branch)
Matriculating in 2008 from Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool Pretoria, she proceeded to follow her passion for the law at University of Pretoria, completing her Baccalareus Legum Degree (LLB) in 2013.
Admitted as a Legal Practitioner / Attorney of the High Court in Cape Town on 06 September 2019.
Appointed to the Master’s Panel of Liquidators in 2020, she is an accredited Insolvency Practitioner who can assist in all aspect of insolvency proceedings.
An experienced civil litigation attorney, with a significant understanding of and passion for Family Law and Insolvency.
Leanda van Deventer
Matriculated in 2002 at Montana High School in Worcester. Where after she travelled through South Africa to broaden her horizons. In 2003 she started studying towards her degree in psychology but soon realized that her passion was in law and therefore proceeded to obtain her LLB degree through the University of South Africa in 2011.
Leanda is now a practicing attorney who specializes in criminal and family law, but take delight in participating in all matters of law.
Has done her family mediation training and therefore will soon be accredited at FAMAC as a family mediator. You are most welcome to contact her with all family mediation matters.
Attorney and Conveyancer – Consultant
Started working at a law firm as a conveyancing secretary in 2004 while completing her LLB degree with a specialization in medical law through the University of South Africa. Although she does not actively practice medical law her knowledge on forensic medicine have been of great assistance in criminal matters.
Shari has experience in various branches of the law and have drafted numerous High Court pleadings as well as assisted with the drafting of seminar material presented by LEAD.
Jeandré van Zyl
Recently completed his LLB degree at the University of South Africa and is currently busy completing his two years articles of clerkship.
After graduating he decided to do a fulltime practical legal training course and he is hoping to continue studying when able to, hoping to further his understanding in labour and commercial practices.
He is a prospective attorney currently serving his articles of clerkship with Esterhuyze Inc.
He was a top achiever during his year of matriculation and completed his LLB at the University of the Western Cape. After this, he endured a long battle searching to find articles of clerkship.
As a candidate attorney, he is actively involved in cases, trials and with clients. His knowledge of the law ranges from corporate to labour to family law. He, furthermore, possesses a keen interest and understanding in respect of criminal law, which is also the field of practise he aspires to specialise in.
Post-admission and after a few years of practise, he aspires to do his pupillage and be admitted as an advocate, and to practise solely the criminal law.
Nicole is a second year candidate attorney at Esterhuyze Incorporated.
Nicole completed her secondary education in 2014 at Kuils River Technical High School. In 2015 Nicole pursued her aspirations of becoming an Attorney and commenced her studies at the University of the Western Cape. She completed her studies and obtained her LLB Degree in 2018.
Nicole joined our firm in 2019. She is very interested in Criminal Law but simultaneously she is extremely excited to see what the future has in store for her.
